Texture Tease (Glass)

frogs-trinity.jpg

My first successful series, the texture tease is all about vivid color and texture. The tease? The color attracts, the texture calls to be touched, but (and here’s the tease) it’s out of reach. It’s framed behind another sheet of glass, in a black frame and matted in white, gallery style.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I love your work! Your writing is bvery inspiring too.
So, if i find oodles of broken glass, in a variety of colors,
you can or someone can make something beautiful from those pieces?
Well, I know you can, but what is the process?
    Sincerely inquisitive,
    thank you,
    lori

Hi Lori, thank you for your post. Your question is actually complex due to the nature of glass. If you find oodles of glass, it must be compatible before you can melt it together.
    Stay in touch!
